Iowa Chapter to Visit MINI of Des Moines 9am Saturday April 21st – RSVP requested

Most Iowa Chapter members are aware that BMW owns MINI and given the past few years’ transition of the MINI models to the latest third generation F series, MINIs are even more BMW-like in their composition and features…yet still retain their famous and totally enjoyable “go kart handling”.  I know…I own one and drive MINI models regularly.

The Iowa Chapter has accepted an invitation from Chris Ruggeri, Motoring Manager, MINI of Des Moines, to provide us an overview of the MINI lineup. Of particular interest will be his comparison of the recently updated Mini Countryman All4 with BMW’s own X1 models..a bit of “compare and contrast” discussion.  No sales pressure; just an opportunity to learn about MINIs and enjoy time with fellow club members and drive some great vehicles…so “What’s Not to Like?”

We’ll see a variety of MINI models and have the opportunity to ask questions and later, get the chance to test drive MINIs.  We’re all “car crazy” so take this opportunity to learn more about BMW’s MINI lineup.  Breakfast pizza, donuts and beverages will be provided.  Please let Rick Talbot know by April 16th if you’re planning to attend so breakfast needs can be determined (rickminir59@gmail.com or 515-782-1429).  Hope to see you there!
