Make what ever amount you would like. I started with 1 pound bacon it would freeze.
The candy maple bacon is easy. Start maple bacon.
You need parchment paper (don’t use wax paper). On a cookie sheet, fan out the bacon slices so they are not touching. It may take several cookie sheets or batches depending on how much you want to do. (I did 1 lbs. package on 3 cookie sheets.)
Sprinkle with a tablespoon of brown sugar or until well covered. Flip the bacon over and repeat.
Now bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. You need to flip the slices on the sheet after about 15 minutes. You are looking for the bacon to fully cook and the brown sugar turns a dark color. The sugar should be a dark color, we are looking for a dark amber to molasses color.
Let cool and the sugar will firm up. You can freeze to break up.
