Attention BMW club members!
Our spring 2019 Tire Rack Street Survival School is Sunday, April 28th and your assistance is needed to make this a successful event for our young driver students. This is one way, we, as volunteer organizations, give back to the community in a meaningful way by teaching inexperienced young drivers, “street survival” car control skills.
Your help is needed as in-car instructors, course workers and general assistance. It takes a ratio of generally 2x the number of students to support this event and with our anticipated class size of 20-25 young drivers, it can’t happen without you. You WILL experience a great sense of accomplishment by helping make this event successful as you see/experience the students’ increasing car control skills throughout the day. You’ll even get a donut/beverage and lunch too!

Questions regarding volunteering as a student instructor can be referred to Fred Bell, Event Chair ( fourbells1@mchsi.com ) or Bryan McCoy, Chief Instructor ( ka0ysq@gmail.com ). General worker questions to Rick Talbot, Worker Coordinator (rickminir59@gmail.com).
Everyone can help us promote this event for young drivers (15-21) ! Event info and student registration can be found here: https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/iowa-bmw-cca-18-1-des-moines-area-community-college-tire-rack-street-survival-077569
Please spread the word of the event to co-workers, neighbors, friends with young drivers! If you have any direct contacts with high schools in the area, those would be key individuals to contact with information regarding this school.
