Spring Drive and Murder Mystery

When: Saturday April 18

Description: Drive starts in the morning in Marion; after a few hours scenic excursion and a stop at the Field of Dreams, arrive at the Mont Rest B&B on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River in Bellevue. There we will enjoy an entertaining evening of becoming a character in an intriguing Agatha Christie-type plot and solve a spine-tingling 'who-done-it'. Your evening begins at 5:30 and ends at approximately 9:30. Come dressed casually because they will costume you from head to toe.

While the game is afoot, a delicious gourmet meal will be served with drinks and dessert. After the murder is solved and the proper person is carted off to jail, you will be able to sleep in one of the beautifully furnished rooms. Upon waking you will sit down to a fabulous breakfast before departing for home.

Reservations are needed for the Murder Mystery Event and room at the Mont Rest no later than Jan. 31. Call the Mont Rest at 563-872-4220 or book online. Cost for the B&B room, Murder Mystery package, and meals is approx. $350 plus tax per couple.

Participants are also welcome to join in the drive on Saturday, and to stay overnight in your choice of hotel or head home Saturday night without participating in the Murder Mystery.
